About Morpholine
Morpholine is colorless organic compound with a weak, ammonia or fish-like odour. The morpholine ring consists of two two-carbon units, a nitrogen atom and an oxygen atom. Morpholine is often produced industrially by the dehydration of diethanolamine with sulfuric acid.
Morpholine is used as a corrosion inhibitor, additive and used to synthesize other chemicals. It is used as a chemical emulsifier in the process of waxing fruit. It is used in the manufacture of paper, rubber, glass, soap, dye and synthetic fibre.
