About Triethylene glycol
TEG is the next higher molecular weight polymer after diethylene glycol in the series of polyethylene glycols. Triethylene glycol is a colorless, odorless, non-volatile and hygroscopic liquid.
Triethylene glycol is used as a dehydrating agent for natural gas processing. It is used as a solvent and as a plasticizer for vinyl polymers.
