About tert-Butyl Alcohol
t-Butyl alcohol is the simplest tertiary alcohol which is miscible with water.
It is used as a solvent and ethanol denaturant. It is an active ingredient of paint remover. It is also used as a solvent for pharmaceuticals, in making flavors and perfumes, and as an additive in unleaded gasoline.
