About Paraldehyde
Paraldehyde is the cyclic trimer of acetaldehyde molecules which is a colourless liquid, that is slightly soluble in water and highly soluble in ethanol. Paraldehyde is used in resin manufacture as an alternative to formaldehyde when making phenol formaldehyde resins.
