About Chloroform
Chloroform is an organic compound with formula CHCl3 which is a colorless, strong-smelling, dense liquid. Chloroform is used as an industrial solvent and as an intermediate in the manufacture of polymeric materials. It is used as a solvent for lacquers, floor polishes, resins, adhesives, alkaloids, fats, oils and rubber.
